GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • Our items are sold exclusively on ThemeForest marketplace. Themeforest is a marketplace for digital goods, mostly themes and templates for different platforms and software. Why ThemeForest you may ask? Well, they're certaintly the biggest marketplaces for such products on the web.

  • Most items have a "BUY FROM THEMEFOREST" button where you'll be redirected to ThemeForest. Here you will need to create an account and the checkout process should be really easy.

  • To see a list of items that you've purchased, login to your ThemeForest account and go to your Downloads section. You can re-download them from here aswell.

  • To download an item that you've purchased, login to your ThemeForest account and go to your Downloads section. You can re-download them from here aswell.

  • Yes, no worries! ThemeForest is a marketplace where we exclusively post and sell our work. Also payments and purchases are made through ThemeForest.

  • As mentioneed before, payments and purchases are made through ThemeForest. The payment methods are through Paypal and Skrill (MoneyBookers). You can find much more details here https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/203269700-How-to-Purchase-Items . Also keep in mind though that credit card payments will be implemented very soon.

  • We'd love to take any type of project, especially if it's related with one of our products. Our time does not allow us usually to take extra work, but that doesn't mean we're always unavailable. So basically if you're in need for some custom freelance work, please drop us a message.

  • Sure, if you're in need for some custom work, please drop us an email with your specifications.

  • Awesome! Thank you so much! You can rate our items in your Downloads section in ThemeForest. On the right column of the listed items, you can see the rating/review box.

  • Sure, here's some hosting providers we're recommending - MediaTemple, DigitalOcean or aSmallOrange .

  • No. Our items are covered by ThemeForest's Standard Licenses. Please read more about Standard Licenses , Extended Licenses or general Frequent asked questions about the Licenses.

  • I'm afraid that item does no longer exist for sale for various reasons like outdated version, outdated design, unability to provide support etc. If you haven't got the chance to dowload it, please drop us an email through our Themeforest profile page's contact form http://goo.gl/fFHLSq and we'll try to send you a copy. Thanks!

  • I'm afraid no. Because we're an exclusive author on Themeforest, we cannot sell our items elsewhere, therefore the only channel to purchase our items is through Themeforest marketplace. Don't worry though, Themeforest is an amazing website and a powerful marketplace, community driven and focused on quality. You won't regret creating an account here.

  • Yes. You can customize our items to fit the needs of your end product. For example: You could change the colors, text, and layout of a theme or convert an HTML template into a WordPress theme for a single client.

  • We always try to update our items to the latest version of a CMS. There might be times when an item is removed from sale because its commercial value is not worthy, or the code is so outdated that we decided to remove it. If by any chance you want to use our templates with an older CMS version, i strongly recommend you not to do that. You could be exposed to security problems.

  • Simply switching, no, however you can try getting a refund. We authors don't have the ability to offer refunds to our buyers and instead, we direct you to read this guide on refunds and contact Envato's Support.

PRESALES QUESTIONS

  • Yes they mostly do and they should. We try to maintain a continuous compatibility with the latest version of the CMS or advertised Extensions/Plugins that are being used inside the template/theme. However it is the buyers responsibility too, to make sure that they buy a file that corresponds to the software that they are using, and that they have the appropriate softwares required to modify the files.

  • I'm afraid no, neither any of the Standard nor Extended licenses permit that. Each domain must have it's own license.

  • Yes, for every item we're selling, we have a documentation provided inside the downloaded package from Themeforest. We tried covering all the main areas of installing and getting to work with the item, however if you need extra help, please open a new ticket on our support desk.

  • For the moment, no, but we'll gladly respond to any presale question you have. We're also planning to add a testing sandbox for our items to be tested prior purchase. That's because we do believe in testing/trials before purchasing, however it's a bit difficult to provide such feature for these type of items.

  • We're so sorry and we wished things were different. I'm afraid we authors don't have the ability to offer refunds to our buyers and instead, we direct you to read this guide on refunds and/or contact Envato's Support.

  • Our items are mostly covered by ThemeForest's Standard Licenses. Please read more about Standard Licenses , Extended Licenses or general Frequent asked questions about the Licenses.

  • Most of our items do have the main Homepage PSD design, while others have PSD's for almost every page inside the item package. If you're looking for a specific page PSD, please drop us an email with your request and we'll try to deliver it.

THEMES AND TEMPLATES RELATED QUESTIONS

  • Quoting from the web: Joomla is an award-winning content management system (CMS), which enables you to build Web sites and powerful online applications. Many aspects, including its ease-of-use and extensibility, have made Joomla the most popular Web site software available.

The Joomla template is a series of files within the Joomla CMS that control the presentation of the content. The Joomla template is not a web site, neither is it to be considered a complete web site design. The template is the basic foundation design for viewing your Joomla! web site.

  • Usually no programming knowledge is required. We always try to provide enough options and settings without bloading with unnecesarry code. However, you do need to know how to install Joomla on your domain. Also if you want massive customisations and a completely different looks for the template, you will need coding skills for that.

  • Quoting from Google: WordPress is a free and open-source blogging tool and a content management system (CMS) based on PHP and MySQL. Read more on WordPress's wikipedia page:

A WordPress Theme is a collection of files that work together to produce a graphical interface with an underlying unifying design for a weblog. These files are called template files. A Theme modifies the way the site is displayed, without modifying the underlying software.

  • HTML Template are static, non-backend packages of html code filled pages. Each HTML template contains .html pages, CSS stylesheets, Javascript files and some PHP helpers (rarely). These templates are recommended for static websites that don't require backend (administrator panel) functionality or they're recommended for developers whom are interested in converting them into CMS applications (like Joomla, WordPress, Drupal or custom PHP or ASP CMS's). They're usually easy to be handled or deployed via FTP if you don't mind changing some texts and images path.

  • Yes and No. A basic understanding of HTML, CSS and some JavaScript or PHP is required to modify any HTML template, but only on a deeper custimisation level. For basic text-changes or image path changes, or even chunks of code, this does not require any special coding skills. It all depends on what you're planning with it.

  • No it won't. If "WordPress" or "Joomla" is not specified in the product description, then it will not work with neither WordPress or Joomla.

  • The general file-structure of the packages you download, depending on the theme/template type are:

    • For Joomla: Documentation, Standalone version (template, extensions separately), Quickstart package, PSD folder, Updates folder
    • For WordPress: Documentation, Child theme, the theme package, Licensing documentation, PSD's, Sample/Dummy data.
    • For HTML: Documentation, the template package, PSD's.
  • For Joomla yes we do. For WordPress, no. WordPress has an entirely different system but we do provide a dummy data import which should replicate the theme demo structure.

  • Yes they're provided with sample and dummy data content which should replicate the theme's demo structure.

SUPPORT RELATED QUESTIONS

  • Please be patient and see this 1 minute read quick tutorial how to find it.

  • Support for my items includes:

    • Responding to questions or problems regarding the item and its features
    • Fixing bugs and reported issues
    • Providing updates to ensure compatibility with new software versions

    Item support does not include:

    • Customization and installation services
    • Support for third party software and plug-ins
  • We usually channel all support inquiries on our support board where you need to register a new account. You could drop us an email through my Themeforest profile page's contact form http://goo.gl/fFHLSq . We encourage you NOT to post support-related questions on the comment section of our templates as we'll redirect you back to the forums.

  • We strongly encourage adding as many info as possible about your problem when posting a new ticket. For example, provide an URL of your website, administrator credentials (to verify the backend), in some cases FTP access to modify some specific files. Also in general, try providing as many details as you can about the problem you're having (like browser details, screenshots or explanations) so we can identify the problem on your website or replicate it on our testing server.

Recently we discovered a 4 min. video of Google's Support department. which explains how to think like a troubleshooter and be much faster when in need for support. The root principles are quite the same here too.

  • If you get either of these messages it means that you have not uploaded the correct folder. Make sure that you are uploading the theme folder only, and NOT the entire downloaded zip file from ThemeForest. See this tutorial for further assistance.

  • Please use the Lost Password tool to recover your forum credentials . If you can't receive the password through email, please drop us an email through my Themeforest profile page's contact form http://goo.gl/fFHLSq and tell us your username or email address used on the forums.

  • We are 100% confidential with our buyer's credentials and you should not worry. We do however recommend creating temporary access details (for backend or FTP). For example instead of providing us your personal account, try creating a temporary username like hogash_support which will be disabled after we solve the problems.

  • Unfortunately no. Also we can't guarantee that all plugins will work with our themes and template. We can also not be held responsible for third-party plugins and their functionality or customization.

UPDATES QUESTIONS

  • Yes they are. Periodically check the Themeforest item page and see the version numbering of the item.

  • Just check the thumbnail of the item in your Themeforest download section. Another way is to look at the main description image. We always provide version numbering in the description of our items.

  • For WordPress themes you will be notified in your Admin panel to update your theme. For others, simply go to your Themeforest's Download section and re-download the item package.

  • For WordPress items you will be notified to update it in your backend. Joomla and HTML templates will need to be manually updated by overwriting new files. WordPress has the advantage of child themes and because of that, neither Joomla or HTML has the ability of automatic update without the posibility of overwriting your work.

Note: Due to our website update, as we speak, we're adding questions to this page.
